My sister changed her location in POland and now she lives in Gdansk.

She is working at University and she got cute little room in Uni Campus. She has access to big kitchen where all residents of her "dormitory" cook their meals. Funny things, my sister started to cook in Polish way and now I am her "victim". It is my duty as the guest to try her experimental dishes. Some taste pretty good, some are so so.

Polish food is not bad, juts a bit heavy for me. But I can try some strange things I have never ate before. My sister knows lots of people from different areas of POland and they give her some regional recipes. I have tried sweet buns from Kaszuby called ruhanki and also something called adzymka what was nice but completely like from medieval era. Polish bread is good and I like to eat it with another countryside speciality called smalec.  THis is simply pork fat mealted and cooked with onions and apples and spices. Pretty greesy thing, but you know what? It is tasty.

I have bad feeling that after just week of my holidays I gain some weight and I hardly fit to my jeans...  No good indeed...

It is cold in POland and looks like snow is not going to disappear soon. My friend from London called me to say that in parks some bushes are blooming already.

Today, to beat poli sh cold, I am going to enjoy polish feast with my sister and her friends. I was told I will be able to try some really special food- some dishes based on medieval polish recipes! Wow...what I am  gonna eat?
