Welcome to my travel weblog!
Welcome to my weblog! I've just started this weblog and will try to keep you posted on my experiences during my travels. Have fun!
London is big. Definitely very big and it takes long time to comute from one part of LOndon to another. Especially if there is signal failire and metro trains are suspended and not running at all and buses stock for long time because of jammed streets. This is horrible and very unpleasant, so I have another alternative. People, you can just walk around. It is for free and if you have enough time, it is easy and cheap way of discovering London. Actually, walking maybe dangerous too, if man goes to some dodgy areas like Elephant and Castle or Brixton. But, nothing without risk and after all, in day time the danger is much smaller.I do not like to ride a bike in LOndon. It is dangerous too, because crazy drivers cause lots of accidents and cyclists are victims.
If you want to go to some really far areas, it is good to take overground trains, which are a bit better than metro and man can see where is going. For tour fans I do recommend Big Buses tours. It is not too expensive and easy way, because you just see LOndon most popular places sitting comfortably on your sit with double decker special bus. Again, I do not like this way. It is limiting my freedom of exploring interesting areas of town. I take trains or buses to rach some point and later I am getting out to walk around. London really has lots of hidden treasures, places worthy to see.
