I am in Tokyo from 8 days. And I will stay till 8 of June. Pretty nice stay. Not that long I would wish, but better this than nothing, or just two or three weeks I spent in Japan before each time I could come here.

My flight was ok, but long. I bought ticket for Finnair plane, which was cheap. Problem is I had to wait 5 hours at Helsinki airport where is boring and later, after 9 hours of flight, I had to wait 4 hours at Kansai Airport (Osaka) to take a plane to Tokyo. Patience is not my virtue, so it was pretty anoying to wait so long. But I was tired, so most of time I was sleeping.

I have no idea why, but food served in airplanes is always so bad. I was hungry but I could eat just piece of bread with so called "spread"...gosh... So actually I was glad that I can spend 4 hours At Kansai airport to eat finally something really tasty.  Japanese sandwitch...poetry... No idea how they do this but even this plastic white bread is tasty. So I ate and bought bottle of sport drink from vending machine. I like vending machines. There are so many types of soft drinks there, it is cheap, I do not need to talk to them just put money into hole and voila! I have my drink, cold and refreshing.Or hot coffe in can. Nice!

My plane was landing at haned Airport. It was my first time to land there. This airport is smaller than Narita and located closer to downtown, so I just took metro and with my heavy suitcase I started my first afternoon in Tokyo.

It is hot here, hot like during summer time in Northern Europe. I was sweating after 15 minutes of walk. Because of this heavy suitcase and bag on my shoulder. I had meeting with friend near Tokyo Station. This station is like labyrynth, especially now because some parts are undr construction works and closed. I was lost a bit. Information system works very well and there are infos in English too, but still I was lost. Jetlag effect I suppose... I mixed up buildings because few are names almost same. I was sitting on bench and watching businessmen walking this and that way in their dark, bulletproof suits. And women made up and dressed like a fashion models.

Finally I found my destination, posh building belonging to few posh Japanese companies.I was sitting again, this time in Starbucks, level B1. Waiting. I must say that this is not fair. Coffee and cakes in Japanese Starbucks look and taste much better than in Europe. They have amazing daughnuts and excelent, mild in taste coffe. I love it! later I met my friends and we went to my current "home". Later shower and bed time and from next day...I started to explore new parts of Tokyo.
