Welcome to my travel weblog!
Welcome to my weblog! I've just started this weblog and will try to keep you posted on my experiences during my travels. Have fun!
Oh my gosh!
Why is this so difficult to find something really tasty is this bloody town?! I am writing about LOndon! All local patriots may protest now but poeple, lets face it, food in UK is........ you know... So stayig here I need some life aid like going to Japan Centre and buy some Japanese stuff to feed my body and stay happier during my exile. After all I am still here in London and who knows when I will change location. All these objective difficulties like economical crisis, swine flue and whatever you want.
So, to cheer up and stay slim i try to eat in Japanese way in London too. Not easy as Japanese food here is expensive and Japanese restaurants not that much good like in Japan. But, at least they are here... During my journeys I try to collect gastronomic experiences and use them in my own way when I come back home. This is part of fun. I do not understand people who come to Japan and go to eat to Mc Donalds! I do not push them to eat raw fish, but it is possible to try not expensive ramen, bowl of rice with beef on top or even rice ball with tuna and mayo. Very cheap and very delicious little thing.
Do you kow that Japanese think about foreigners that they ...smell bad?! Oh yes. Sweating is serious issue for Japanese same like personal scent. If you eat too much meat, body may produce lots of toxins so aroma is rather so so even if you take a shower. Japanese can feel it, they just can. My Japanese friend used to say that since his American girl friend started to eat in Japanese way, her body smells nicer. How lovely... so there is some hope for all of us, stinky gaikokujins.
Japanese are crazy about food. I mentioned about that so many times I suppose. When I was in Tokyo I used to visit many bars and restaurants to check what is good. Almost everything was amazing good. I have just small prejudice about sea snails...one, called awabi looks a bit like...check by yoursel :).
And if somebody is going to Tokyo in these days and want to eat good and less expensive food, check this site out...

I am sure you may enjoy a lot! I did. And for all English who may read this...sorry to criticize London. Sometimes it is even nice place to stay :) so no offence.
