Everybody admire and enjoy Japanese temples.Thousands of foreigners are running through them every day, because it is so good to see famous places in Japan. It is...but I do not want to run through them with supersonic speed, take few pics and later go to find some bar with cheap beer.

When I enter to temple, I want to spend some time there and enjoy silence, aroma of wood, so different from this I know from Europe. Japanese are rather quiet and do not disturb much my contemplation. There is many temples in Japan which I do like a lot. Some of them very small and completely not famous, some very famous and big. And temple which I really love is Kiyomizudera in Kyoto.

Amazing construction from wood, built without any nails, located on mountain covered by forest. Kiyomizudera has few pavilons and the great view for all Kyoto. This view is fantastic and I like to watch sunset from terras of temple. Purple,red,violet and orange, giant sky.

Kiyomizudera has very special atmosphere and always makes me feel better. I was there three times and each time I am in Japan I want to go there.It is like meeting old friend with whom I like to be. This temple represents spirit of Kyoto and ancient Japan and in some way, also my spirit. Sounds odd, true?
