Tanabe is really lovely located and has great small beach, covered by sand and small stones. There are also the most bizarre shaped rocks I have ever seen. They look like sculptures made by some crazy artists.

In October Ocean is already cold and it is definitely not good idea to swim. But it was such a hot day, even if it was Autumn. I was wearing t-shirt and light trousers and i could not resist to roll them up and enter to the water, so clean and transparent. Old man who was fishing sitting on near rock was looking at me astonished. It had to really look funny. White girl walking in the water and smiling like child. My legs wascompetely frozen, so I climbed on small rock too and watched a view. It is really peaceful place. No tourists, just few old people fishing. I found great shells on the beach.

After one hour of contemplation, I went to see benkei house,or rather place in which this house was supposed to be located ages ago. My friend describe the way very precisely and i also got a map. I found it. There was old well and bushes and giant spiders. That's it.

I was hungry so I went to eat something. This is always kind of small adventure itself, to enter to typical Japanese small bar and try to order something. Owners looked like they were in panic, but I asked for house speciality and I could see relief on their faces. My Japanese language skills were small, but I learnt sentences useful to order meal and to have some small conversation. I got Tanabe style sushi which really tasted completely different than this I ate in Tokyo or Osaka. Some strange kind of fish and some kind of jelly thing as well. I still do not know what i ate, but it was pretty tasty. Sometimes better not to ask just eat and enjoy.

In afternoon I was supposed to meet my friend and have dinner with his family and from next morning I was supposed to start my adventure in mountains.
