It is nice weather in London from few days. Amazing, as last year it was terrible. Perhaps it is kind of God's mercy and the way to help me not to miss Japan too much. Anyway. Today I recall my lovely morning in small templa garden near Shirokane Takanawa metro station. Actually it was not too close, but this is simply technicality. We are talking about Tokyo which is huge and places which are "close" are actualy quite far.

I do not remember the name of this temple. It was small and cute temple. Garden was small too, but lovely, with little pond and tiny koi fish. day was sunny and hot, I was tired so I sat down on small bench (there was all small in this garden, but it was good) and enjoyed the view. Tokyo is so big, busy and noisy town, but some parts are tranquile like a rural areas. Beause it was buddhist temple naturally there was also grave yard. I went there too. It looked pretty jolly in morning sunshine. Japanese are afraid to walk around graves especially in evenings and nights, because thet are afraid of ghosts. But I am not afraid and besides there are no bodies underground. Nothing creepy and roten, all clean and melancholic. People leave gifts for their dead relatives and friends. Sometimes it is bottle of green tea, water, rice ball and even sake and beer. It is ancient tradition.

This garden was not so tidy and cool like many temple gardens. It was a bit wild and looked like a bit forgotten, but it was even more cute to me. I spent there nice 30 minutes watching koi fish and insects, graves and offerrings and checking which offering cup is the prettiest. I know it sounds crazy to chill out on cemetery, but sorry, I do not care. I had nice time in nice place. I wish I can come back there now.
