In Fukuoka my friends took me to big and impressive shopping centre called Canal City Hakata.

There is one floor only for ramen shops and it possible to try there all kinds of ramen from all regions of Japan! This is really great place for all ramen lovers.

We went there around lunch time but it was still not so crowdy, but in front of most famous ramen shops people made a queues waiting for place to eat.

Ramen shops are rather small and if popular, people must wait for pleasure of eating there so it is kind of sign. If there is queue in front of shop, it must be good and it is worthy to wait.

We wanted to tried tonkotsu ramen in Hakata style.

So my friends choose small and cosy ramen shop with crew dressed in black.

It looked like band of handsome ninja boys is serving me. Nice feeling.

Broth was very creamy and very thick, aromatic and porky. I asked for simple garnish and I got yakibuta and spring onions and bean sprouts and some kind of pickles, I think it was radish.

Noodles were thick and tasty too. But I took half of portion as we wanted to try another shop as well.

Chefs and waiters checked how I will manage with hashi (chop sticks), but I am good at hashi and ate like Japanese. It was fun and it was very tasty.

Ramen is such a comfort food. It is also cheap so good option for lunch meal.

I can eat ramen in London too, but it is not at all that tasty like these which I ate in Japan.
